I was holding Coen today while he was sleeping. (He was totally exhausted from trying to drown himself in the pool. He thinks he can swim already) And I was looking in the mirror and saw that he is half of my size! He is not a baby anymore. He says a new word at least every day now. His first few words have been, ball, me, baseball, wheel, more, water. He is getting into everything and getting in the way of Sawyer and London's play so that has made life very interesting. It's good for all of us to learn how to be patient.

Too cute for words
My highlight of the day was playing with Coco Bean. We played on the swings, crawled up the jungle gym, slid down the slide, rode a car/bike, played peek a boo in the tub, snuggled, talked, and laughed. With those eyes and that curly hair---he is just beautiful.

Coen Face
Coen does the cutest face when he gets excited, he flares his nostrils and sucks in. He does it when he is walking with a walker.
He still lets me rock him to sleep. I try not to do it because it makes it harder to get him to sleep for other instances but it's so hard not to. This phase is just so short!
He is like my little shadow following me wherever I go and vacuuming the floor--I will not miss that phase. The worst thing I have pulled out of his mouth so far was a nail. Yikes. Super Yikes.

Missing Happy Coen
Poor Coen had a sad day today with a high fever (103) due to a flu shot. Dad made the comment that he hated to say it but it was kind of nice to have Coen subdued. It was a lot easier to take care of him but I sure missed his smile and his curiosity. He is all over the place and he is already fighting for what is his.

Let me out
Coen was watching Joel and the kids play around at bedtime the other night and was very envious and looked like he was trying to gnaw his way out of his crib. He seems very curious which will make things interesting....
